The honorable teachers and dear students:
Good morning!
It’s my great honor to be here to give all of you a speech for the Second English Festival of Xing Tai School.
In order to bring up the students’ interest in English, improve the students’ English level and encourage more students’ to speak English and use English more.
The whole school holds from April 16 to April 30 with “Happy English” for the English Festival.
Everyone will be welcome to join in our English Festival.
Now, let me explain the plan for the activities during the English Festival:
1. Our slogan in “Happy English”.
2. The teachers and the students to say hello in English after class.
3. The blackboard will develop the English Club.
4. English calligraphy competes.
5. English newspaper competes.
6. Sing English songs, textbook play and poetry reading.
I’m sure that the activities would be more interesting with your participation.
